Artist In Residence

Anna Sweet

A dropout of the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, Anna decided to spend her time in the studios of working artists learning and conversing firsthand with the leaders in the industry. Anna moved from NYC to London to work for world-famous fashion photographer Rankin. Now a multi-media artist, Anna’s collections have ranged from photography to sculpture with works that raise the question, “What is art, and how do we consume it?”

Anna is working on her “Yummy” series and will be creating and sharing her newest concepts in the Artist Block space through the summer of 2024. Experience her art from conception to completion.

Anja's work is a celebration of fashion and fashion illustration. • LEE MORRISON

    ACRYLIC PAINTINGS

Lee uses a style that combines abstract and figurative elements to create captivating fractal forest scenes. Morrison Likes to play with perspective in both the figurative and literal sense. • Toni Martin

    SCULPTURE

Completely self-taught, Martin pulls from different mediums to bring personal, sometimes reactionary themes tinged with hope and joy to fruition. Her pathway here embodies that of the archetypical starving artist. As she sought to give visibility to her craft, she slept on friends’ couches and the floor of government housing before finding support from patrons who recognized her talent. Her drive, determination, and outstanding talent have led to her current degree of success and recognition.
